Christmas baking with Kölln oat flakes

By the way, you can prepare any baking recipe with Kölln oat flakes. Simply replace 1/3 of the specified amount of flour with Kölln oat flakes.

Oat cookie varieties

Ingredients for approx. 100 pieces:

250 g butter
250 g sugar
2 eggs (weight class M)
125 g wheat flour (type 405)
1 packet of baking powder
250 g Delicate Kölln Oat Flakes 
1 packet of vanilla sugar
2-3 tbsp. granulated sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. rum
2 tbsp. chocolate chunks
50 g sliced almonds
 

Preparation:

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder and Delicate Kölln Oat Flakes, and add to the mixture. Divide the dough into 5 portions and adjust according to the instructions below. Use two teaspoon to lift up the dough portions and drop onto a greased baking sheet, then bake. 

1st portion: Stir vanilla sugar into the batter. Sprinkle the cookies on the baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar.

2nd portion: Knead ½ teaspoon cinnamon into the dough. Mix ½ teaspoon cinnamon with ½ teaspoon granulated sugar and sprinkle over the cookies.

3rd portion: Mix 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder with 1 tablespoon of rum and add to the dough. Sprinkle the cookies with sugar if desired.

4th portion: Place cookies on the baking sheet and top with chocolate chunks.

5th portion: Knead slivered almonds into the dough.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Top/bottom heat: 200 °C
Convection oven: 170 °C
