“On the night of 13 to 14 August 2025, around midnight, there was an
Fire at our plant in Elmshorn. Affected was one of the silos in which
by-products were no longer suitable for food production.
The fire brigade and the technical relief organisation were immediately on site and were able to
brought the fire under control in the early morning hours. The fire department
is still on site and monitoring the situation.
The emergency services did a great job. Many of our employees were
on site and helped out.
The important thing is: no one was seriously injured. I'm very happy about that.
Those involved responded quickly, comprehensively and professionally.
The evacuation of our night shift employees went smoothly,
For this we would like to express our sincere thanks to all emergency personnel and our team.
themselves acted prudently.
The cause of the fire is currently unclear and is being investigated.
We cannot yet quantify the damage in more detail.
Production continues, but is partially restricted. We are doing everything
