The 32-year-old holds a doctorate in law and, after working in the food industry (Iglo and Katjes), most recently worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Friederike has been a shareholder in our company since 2012 and was also a member of our supervisory board between 2016 and 2018.
"It is a great honor to now be the 7th generation of entrepreneurs to lead the operations of our family business. I am aware of the responsibility that comes with this great task. But I am also firmly convinced that together we can continue our company's success story and further strengthen our position in the industry," Friederike asserts.
In the future, Manfred Vondran will focus on production, technology, logistics, and quality management, and assume end-to-end responsibility for the industrial business. He will be primarily responsible for the currently planned investments in infrastructure.
Starting in May, he will be joined by Björn Schulz as the new CFO. The co-managing director will be responsible for finance, controlling, IT, and procurement. Björn holds a degree in business administration and has decades of experience in the consumer goods industry. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Aryzta. Previously, Björn held various management positions at Braun, Gilette, Procter & Gamble, and Coca-Cola.
