Oat Crispies

Kölln Oat Crispies have been a breakfast classic for over 40 years! What makes them so special? 72 % wholegrain oats – refined with a little sugar, salt and malt. Not only are they super crunchy, but they are also rich in fibre, vitamin B1, magnesium, iron and zinc – exactly what your body needs in the morning.

Oat Crispies are an integral part of our classic muesli combinations – together with Delicate Kölln Oat Flakes and Regular Rolled Kölln Oat Flakes, they form the perfect basis for a crunchy start to the day.

Worth knowing

The secret lies in the production process, namely extrusion, which is reminiscent of a meat grinder. Wholegrain oat flour is used to make a dough, which is heated and pressed through small nozzles. Rotating blades determine the length, and as soon as the dough comes out of the nozzle, the water evaporates – causing the Oat Crispies to puff up and become irresistibly crispy! They are then dried to achieve the perfect crunchy texture.
