Wheat bran

Wheat bran is more than just a byproduct of flour production – it's packed with valuable fiber and makes your breakfast even more nutritious. It's created when the bran is separated from the flour during flour production and contains valuable components such as the pericarp, seed coat, and aleurone layer of the wheat grain.

Worth knowing

Did you know? Wheat bran is at least 45% fiber and is often used as a natural fiber concentrate. Whether in yogurt, beverages, or to enrich bread and breakfast cereals – it's a true all-rounder.

The term "bran" comes from the Old High German *kliwa* and the Latin *clia* – both meaning the same thing: fine residue from grain milling. Our wheat bran is produced in Germany and is an integral part of our oat pillows – for the perfect mix of crunch and whole grain!
