Sugar

Whether naturally derived from fruit, milk, and grains or added as honey, table sugar or syrup – sugar not only adds sweetness, but also ensures the perfect consistency and a delicate browning. In our products, we focus on a thoughtful balance of natural and added sugars, so your breakfast not only tastes good but is also perfectly balanced.

Our mueslis are available in a variety of flavours – from sugar-reduced to chocolatey and crunchy. And if you like something unique, simply combine your favourite muesli with Kölln oat flakes and decide for yourself how sweet you want your breakfast to be.

Worth knowing

The WHO recommends a maximum of 50 g of free sugar per day – equivalent to about 10 sugar cubes. For comparison, a 40 g serving of Kölln Oat Granola Honey-Nut contains around 8 g of sugar, which leaves plenty of room for the rest of the day.

The term "free sugar" encompasses all sugars added to food and beverages, including sugars in honey, syrup or fruit juice concentrates. According to the WHO, these should be consumed more consciously than natural sugars found in fruit or milk.

By the way: We source our beet sugar from Germany – because regionality is just as important to us as good taste.
