Preparation

1Preheat oven. Place water and crumbled yeast in a bowl and stir with a whisk. Stir in salt and syrup evenly. Then add the flour, tender spelled flakes and the coarsely chopped walnuts. Knead the dough well and let it rise for 15 minutes. Then knead briefly again.

2Form the dough into a loaf, score it and let it rise for another 5 minutes before baking.

3Top/bottom heat: 200°C Circulating air: 180°C Baking time: 30-35 minutes Preparation time: approx. 1 hour

4A bowl filled with water in the oven ensures a particularly crispy crust.
