Preparation
-
1Preheat oven. Butter a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with a tube bottom insert, sprinkle with delicate Kölln flakes and chill for about 10 minutes
-
2Beat eggs with butter, sugar and milk until foamy. Mix the flour, delicate Cologne flakes, chocolate sprinkles and baking powder and stir into the egg cream. Pour the dough into the mold, smooth it out and bake on the middle shelf.
-
3Remove the cake ring from the pan and let it cool. Then cut the cake into 3 unequal pieces with a knife. Assemble the pieces to form a snake and cut the head and tail to size.
-
4Mix the powdered sugar and juice into a icing and spread it over the snake. Press candy into the mold as eyes, mouth and tongue. The UFOs from Hitschler are particularly good as back decoration. Sprinkle the snake with colorful sprinkles.
-
5Top/bottom heat: 180°C Circulating air: 160°C Baking time: approx. 40 minutes
-
6For a larger party, two rings can be baked and assembled into a long queue.
